Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Law Firm Partner with an existing book of business valued at $500,000 or more to join our leadership team. The ideal candidate is a proven attorney with strong client relationships, business development skills, and a track record of delivering high-quality legal services. Partners play a key role in driving firm growth, managing high-profile matters, mentoring attorneys, and contributing to the firm’s strategic direction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain high-value client relationships, ensuring exceptional service and client satisfaction.
- Lead complex legal matters and provide strategic counsel in your practice area(s).
- Actively leverage your existing book of business ($500K+) to generate revenue growth for the firm.
- Mentor and supervise associates, paralegals, and support staff to ensure excellence in client service and legal work.
- Participate in firm management and strategic decision-making, including budgeting, staffing, and policy development.
- Share in the firm’s profits (equity partners) or receive enhanced compensation (non-equity partners).
- Ensure compliance with all legal, ethical, and regulatory requirements.
- Represent the firm at professional events, industry conferences, and community engagements.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the state bar in relevant jurisdiction(s).
- Typically 10+ years of legal experience with a strong record of client management and case success.
- Proven ability to bring in new business and maintain a book of business of $500K or more.
- Leadership and mentoring experience in a law firm or legal department.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
- Strong business acumen and understanding of law firm operations.
