Law Office - File Clerk / Receptionist

Law + Brandmeyer LLP is seeking a part-time, detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as a part-time File Clerk/Receptionist. This role will share responsibilities to ensure smooth and efficient management of administrative operations, including maintaining the firm data management system and handling daily tasks.

The ideal candidate should have strong verbal and written communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Suite and Adobe Acrobat. Must be organized, flexible, and able
to multitask. Must have excellent telephone etiquette and ability to work well
in a fast-paced ,team-oriented environment where deadlines and attention to detail are critical. Previous experience in a law firm/professional setting is a must.

Responsibilities:

  • Answer and screen telephone calls to direct to the appropriate party or take detailed messages.
  • Process incoming mail; sort, scan, label, organize, and distribute incoming documentation and enter into document/case management system.
  • Process / save subpoena records and various types of medical records.
  • Assist with a variety of day-to-day administrative tasks as needed, including assisting Legal Assistants/Paralegals with creating templates/shells, redacting & scanning documents, printing, and mailing correspondence.
  • Maintain physical and electronic filing systems.
  • Maintain a clean, clutter-free workspace.
  • Lite housekeeping tasks; set-up weekly lunches (Firm buys lunch for everyone on Fridays), maintain small kitchen and copy room area fully stocked and clean.**Qualified candidates are encouraged to submit a resume and cover letter via Indeed.com for immediate consideration.
