Position: Law Officer

Location: New Delhi, Delhi

Organization: Brave Souls Foundation

Job description:

o Litigation: Draft, manage, and represent organization/ survivors in legal cases across courts and tribunals

o Drafting: Prepare complaints, representations, petitions, case studies, reports, proposals, etc.

o Research: Conduct legal as well as non-legal research

Qualifications:

o Bachelor's degree in Law

o 2-5 years’ experience in appearing before all courts/ tribunals and drafting documents including petitions, representations, complaints, etc

o Strong organizational and coordination skills

o Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities

o Understanding of the challenges faced by survivors of acid attack and gender-based violence and a strong commitment to human rights and social justice

o Proficiency in legal knowledge, writing skills, data management and reporting
