Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a crew of lawn care and landscaping technicians, assigning daily tasks and ensuring timely completion of projects
• Oversee landscape maintenance activities including mowing, trimming, edging, pruning, planting, and fertilization
• Manage irrigation systems, perform routine repairs, and ensure proper watering schedules to promote healthy growth
• Conduct site inspections to assess project needs, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions efficiently
• Ensure all safety protocols are followed during operations to maintain a safe working environment for the team
• Coordinate with clients to understand project specifications and provide updates on progress
• Maintain equipment and tools through regular inspections, cleaning, and scheduled maintenance

Experience

• Proven supervising experience in landscape maintenance or related outdoor services
• Strong background in landscaping, lawn care, gardening, horticulture or construction projects involving outdoor environments
• Knowledge of irrigation systems, tree care techniques, and general horticultural practices
• Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and direct a team effectively
• Familiarity with landscape maintenance equipment and tools
• Ability to troubleshoot technical issues related to outdoor systems and infrastructure
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate with team members and clients effectively
