Job Summary

Duties

• Mow lawns using push mowers, riding mowers, or other power tools to achieve a clean, professional appearance.
• Trim trees, shrubs, and hedges with hand tools or power equipment to enhance landscape aesthetics.
• Perform landscape maintenance tasks such as edging, weeding, planting, and mulching to promote healthy growth.
• Operate machinery including excavators and other construction equipment for hardscape installation or site preparation.
• Maintain irrigation systems by inspecting, repairing, or installing components to ensure optimal watering schedules.
• Assist with snow plowing during winter months to keep pathways safe and accessible.
• Use hand tools like shovels, rakes, pruners, and blowers efficiently for various gardening and landscaping tasks.

Experience

• Prior experience in lawn care, gardening, or landscape maintenance is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates.
• Basic mechanical knowledge is advantageous for operating and maintaining power tools and equipment safely.
• Familiarity with landscaping techniques such as tree trimming, horticulture practices, and hardscape installation is a plus.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining safety standards.
• Strong attention to detail and a proactive attitude toward learning new skills related to landscaping and construction projects.
• Experience with irrigation systems or snow plowing is beneficial but not mandatory; training will be available.
