Responsibilities

• Operate lawn care equipment such as mowers, trimmers, blowers, and hand tools to maintain healthy and attractive lawns and landscapes
• Perform landscape maintenance tasks including planting, pruning, edging, fertilizing, and weed control
• Use power tools and hand tools safely and effectively for tasks like tree trimming, shrubbery shaping, and hardscape installation
• Assist with irrigation system installation and maintenance to ensure efficient watering of plants and turf
• Support snow plowing operations during winter months to keep pathways clear and safe for clients
• Conduct routine inspections of equipment and tools; perform basic maintenance or report repairs needed
• Collaborate with team members on large-scale landscaping projects involving excavation with excavators or other construction equipment

Qualifications

• Mechanical knowledge related to operating lawn care machinery and hand tools
• Experience or interest in lawn care, landscape maintenance, gardening or horticulture
• Familiarity with landscaping techniques including tree care, pruning, mowing, and hardscape installation
• Ability to operate power tools safely and efficiently; prior experience with excavators or construction equipment is a plus
• Knowledge of irrigation systems, snow plowing procedures, or tree trimming is desirable
• Strong work ethic with a positive attitude; ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
• Excellent teamwork skills; willingness to learn new techniques in landscaping and maintenance
