Duties

• Operate lawn mowers, trimmers, blowers, and other power tools to perform mowing, edging, trimming, and debris removal efficiently
• Assist with landscape installation projects including planting, mulching, hardscape setup, and garden bed preparation
• Maintain and repair landscaping equipment such as excavators, hand tools, and irrigation systems to ensure optimal performance
• Conduct tree trimming and pruning to promote healthy growth and safety across various outdoor spaces
• Support snow plowing operations during winter months to ensure safe access for clients and staff
• Perform routine landscape maintenance tasks including watering, fertilizing, aeration, and soil preparation
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time while adhering to safety standards and client specifications

Experience

• Basic mechanical knowledge of landscaping equipment and power tools is preferred but not required; training will be provided
• Prior experience in lawn care, landscape maintenance, or gardening is a plus but eager learners are welcome
• Familiarity with tree care techniques such as trimming and pruning enhances your versatility on the team
• Knowledge of irrigation systems, hardscape installation, or horticulture practices is beneficial for growth within the role
• Ability to operate construction machinery like excavators or snow plows is advantageous but not mandatory
• Strong work ethic with a positive attitude; willingness to learn new skills in landscaping and outdoor maintenance
• Physical stamina to perform manual tasks outdoors in various weather conditions throughout the year
