Lawn Care Professional

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Lawn Care Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for landscaping and lawn maintenance, with a strong understanding of horticulture and the ability to operate various tools and equipment. This role involves providing exceptional lawn care services to our clients, ensuring their outdoor spaces are healthy, beautiful, and well-maintained.

We currently have 5 locations in the Chicago area we are hiring for service. Pay is based on size of location. Each location is to be serviced weekly.

Our ideal candidate must have his/her own equipment: Riding lawn mower, trailer, weedeater, blower, etc. All locations will require a riding mower.

Duties

• Perform routine lawn care tasks including mowing, trimming, and edging to maintain a neat appearance.
• Implement landscape maintenance practices such as planting, weeding, and mulching.
• Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently for various landscaping tasks.
• Conduct tree care activities including tree trimming and removal as necessary.
• Assist with irrigation system installation and maintenance to ensure proper water distribution.
• Provide snow plowing services during winter months to maintain accessibility for clients.
• Collaborate with team members on hardscape projects, ensuring quality workmanship.
• Maintain equipment in good working condition through regular cleaning and minor repairs.
• Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide recommendations.

Experience

• Proven experience in lawn care or landscape maintenance is preferred.
• Familiarity with mechanical knowledge related to landscaping equipment is essential.
• Experience operating excavators and other heavy machinery is a plus.
• Background in gardening, horticulture, or related fields will be beneficial.
• Knowledge of construction practices related to landscaping projects is an advantage.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $100.00 - $150.00 per day
