Lawn Care Worker

Overview
I'm seeking one or two Lawn Care Workers to join my team on a part time schedule. This role involves mowing with a walk-behind mower, string trimming, spreading mulch, laying rock, building sheds, pressure washing, and other landscaping. I don't care how much experience you have, what's important to me is that you have a good attitude, are physically capable of the work, and are willing to learn. Pay is based on your experience, but I don't mind giving raises as I see skills develop. This is a part time position with no benefits, that being said I've been told I pay better than most. I know it can be hard work and I believe in rewarding that effort.

This Might Be A Good Fit If:

  • You enjoy working outside
  • You are punctual, hardworking, and friendly
  • You are willing to learn our methods for efficiency
  • You enjoy a flexible schedule, with the ability to finish early if work is done.

This Position Is NOT For You If:

  • You have a hard time being active for several hours
  • You're looking for full time hours
  • You're difficult to get along with
  • You have a history of missing scheduled starting times
  • You expect to be sitting the whole day. I run (motor-propelled) walk-behind mowers. You don't really have to push them, but you will be getting your steps.

I'm looking for at least 2 days a week of commitment. I work Monday through Saturday, never Sundays. I start at 7 am and I aim to be done by 2 pm, although sometimes the job does demand we go a bit later. If I say it's going to be a 6 hour day and we finish in 4 hours, you get paid for 6.

Schedule can be agreed upon based on your availability. I am understanding of other responsibilities and I'm willing to work with you to make sure this works out well for both of us. This could be a good position for a student or someone that plays music or work in bars/restaurants.

Job Types: Part-time, Temporary, Contract, Seasonal

Pay: $15.00 - $25.00 per hour
