Duties

• Mow lawns and trim grass using power tools such as mowers, trimmers, and edgers to achieve a neat, uniform appearance
• Perform landscape maintenance tasks including planting, mulching, pruning, and shrubbery care to promote healthy growth
• Use hand tools and power tools for tasks like edging, aerating, and installing hardscape features such as patios or walkways
• Operate heavy equipment such as excavators for larger landscaping projects or land clearing activities
• Maintain irrigation systems by inspecting for leaks or blockages and making necessary repairs to ensure proper watering
• Assist with tree care activities including trimming, pruning, and planting to enhance safety and aesthetics

Qualifications

• Basic mechanical knowledge and experience with lawn care equipment and hand tools
• Familiarity with landscape maintenance practices and horticulture principles
• Ability to operate power tools safely and efficiently in various outdoor conditions
• Knowledge of tree care techniques including trimming and pruning (not required)
• Experience with irrigation systems, snow plowing, and hardscape installation is a plus (not required)
• Strong physical stamina to perform outdoor work in all weather conditions
• Excellent attention to detail and a proactive attitude toward maintenance tasks
