Lawn Care Worker

Job Overview
We are a small, fast-growing local lawn care company looking for a reliable and hardworking crew member to join our team. If you enjoy working outdoors and take pride in doing quality work, we’d love to hear from you.

Schedule

• Monday – Friday
• 7:30 AM – 3:30 PM
• 40 hours per week
• Overtime available during peak summer season
• Winter hours may vary depending on grass growth, but we work to keep our team busy.

Responsibilities

• Mow lawns using power tools such as riding mowers, and trimmers to achieve a clean, professional appearance.
• Perform landscape maintenance tasks including edging, trimming, pruning, and planting to promote healthy growth and aesthetic appeal..
• Assist with tree care activities including trimming, pruning, and removal using appropriate equipment like chainsaws or tree trimmers.
• Maintain gardens by planting new greenery, mulching beds, watering plants, and managing weed control to ensure vibrant landscapes.
• Conduct routine equipment maintenance on lawn care machinery to ensure optimal performance and safety standards are met.

Qualifications

• Basic mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate various landscaping tools and equipment such as excavators, power tools, and hand tools.
• 1 year experience in lawn care, landscape maintenance, or gardening is highly desirable.
• Ability to perform physical tasks outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining safety protocols.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills for completing multiple projects efficiently.
• Good communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and clients.
• A valid driver’s license may be required depending on the scope of work involving equipment transportation or site visits.

Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
