Lawn Maintenance Crew & Driver

Pebble Creek Landscaping is in full swing and growing again. We are in need of lawn maintenance crew members for our residential and commercial maintenance division! The Lawn Maintenance Crew Member is responsible for performing a variety of work tasks in order to complete maintenance service contracts. You will be required to operate a variety of tools and equipment to carry out specific job tasks. Knowledge of irrigation and grading is a plus.

**Please note that a DOT health card and clean motor vehicle record is REQUIRED for this position as you will be driving in addition to lawn maintenance**

Job Responsibilities:

• Aid in the loading/unloading of trucks and trailers in the AM and PM, including washing and wiping down inside and outside of truck and trailer, disinfect daily.
• Cut grass, trim edges, clean up refuse, blow trimmings, fertilize and water turf areas and perform other lawncare duties as directed by crew leader and to Pebble Creek specifications.
• Hand pull weeds, pick up sticks, and pine cones (debris). Pick up trimmings and clippings.
• Spray areas to control weeds in flowerbeds. Empty lawn bags and mower, put in trailer.
• Safely operate power equipment including, but not limited to, zero turn mowers, push mowers, line trimmers, blowers, hedge trimmers, pruning saws, loppers and chain saws.
• Wear appropriate personal protective equipment at all times. Comply with all company policies and procedures. (attendance is most critical, start time is 6:45am)
• Work in accordance with all local health and safety laws and regulations.
• Communicate with customers in a polite and courteous manner. Represent Pebble Creek well in the community. Turn in enhancement opportunities.

Daily Checklist:

• Keep truck clean inside and out.
• Enter daily fuel, oil and edger blade logs.
• Check lights on truck and trailer.
• Open iPad and check daily emails from office and see notes from field supervisor for that day before you leave the shop in AM.
• Service each account on your calendar for the day and document any notes needed for each account.
• Remove any dead plants, flowers, blooms.
• Pull all weeds, vines, and debris from flower beds.
• Spraying Roundup. Write up report and document it. Leave flag with date and time in customers front yard.
• Conduct daily inspections and maintenance on vehicles, tools and equipment.
• Assist Crew Leader in other work-related duties including, construction projects, shop and yard maintenance, vehicle and equipment maintenance.
• Learn operation of iPad, calendar, email and reports. Focus on changes/special notes.

Pay scale is based upon your skill level, drivers license, and if you have a DOT health card as well.
