Lawn Maintenance Crew Member 2026

The Lawn Maintenance Crew Member is responsible for performing routine lawn and landscape maintenance services on residential and commercial properties. This includes mowing, trimming, edging, and general clean-up tasks to ensure properties are maintained to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities:

● Mow, trim, edge, and blow grass and debris from lawns, sidewalks, driveways, and other areas.

● Prune shrubs, bushes, and small trees as needed.

● Maintain flower beds by weeding, mulching, and general upkeep.

● Load and unload equipment and materials daily.

● Operate landscaping equipment such as mowers, trimmers, blowers, and edgers safely and effectively.

● Assist with seasonal tasks such as leaf removal, aeration, and snow removal (if applicable).

● Follow instructions from the Crew Leader to complete tasks efficiently and safely.

● Ensure job sites are cleaned and left in good condition after services.

● Perform regular maintenance checks on tools and equipment; report any issues to supervisor.

● Follow all company safety procedures and wear required PPE at all times.

Qualifications:

● 1 year experience operating zero turn mowers and various lawn equipment

● Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.

● Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical labor for extended periods.

● Team player with a strong work ethic and positive attitude.

● Reliable transportation to work; valid driver’s license preferred.
