Lawn Maintenance Crew Leader

You don’t need years of lawn care experience for this role — but you do need to be confident behind the wheel. We’re looking for a Lawn Maintenance Crew Leader who has proven experience safely operating a truck and trailer; with the potential to lead a small team, and take ownership of their route each day.

SUMMARY OF POSITION:

A lawn maintenance crew leader is responsible for overseeing lawn maintenance crews while assisting in the maintenance of both commercial and residential properties.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Oversee lawn project from start to finish
• Lead others and delegate lawn maintenance tasks
• Commercial and residential mowing
• Use of hand tools including power equipment (i.e. string trimmers, stick edgers, blowers).
• Pruning shrubbery and trees
• Engage in positive interactions with customers and homeowners
• Serves as a reliable source of contact throughout the day
• Perform other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

• State of Michigan Chauffeur's license preferred
• DOT medical card preferred
• Ability to work in outdoor environment
• Attention to detail and detail oriented
• Delivers quality work and services
• Lift heavy objects for prolonged periods of time
• Maintain a steady pace throughout day in extreme weather conditions
• Work collaboratively in a team environment
• Maintain good attendance and report to work on time everyday

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour
