Lawn Maintenance Crew Member

Gavin’s Lawn Maintenance is a Christian based lawn care company in Derby, KS. We are looking for a motivated individual who wants to learn and grow with the company in a positive environment. A strong work ethic and desire to provide quality results are valued traits of a potential employee.

Qualifications:

- High level of competence and integrity

- Minimum of 1 year experience working for a lawncare company

- Available Monday-Friday with occasional weekend work

- Must be able to lift 50 pounds and perform the physical requirements associated with this position

- Willingness to work paid overtime

Responsibilities:

- Perform lawn maintenance duties such as mowing, weadeating, and landscaping

- Operate a variety of mechanical equipment including but not limited to commercial mowers, blowers, string trimmers, and edgers

- May be requested to help with equipment maintenance under supervision

- Attention to detail

- Positive attitude with an emphasis on customer service

- A desire to do things efficiently, correctly, and to the best of your ability

- Use professionalism and a friendly demeanor when in contact with customers or potential customers

Benefits and Pay:

- This is a full time position

- $17-$20 an hour

-Crew members are eligible for pay for performance/incentive pay based off of budgeted labor hours and how many labor hours it took to complete. Helpers can make $22-$24 per hour with performance pay. You can make no less than your base pay.

Experience:

-At least 1-2 years of experience working for a mowing or landscaping company

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
