Open Positions

We are hiring for two roles:

1. Lawn Care Applicator Responsible for fertilizer application, weed control spraying, and spot treatments on residential and commercial properties.

2. Mow Crew Technician Responsible for zero-turn mower operation, string trimming, edging, blower cleanup, and overall site quality on each property.

Responsibilities

• Follow an assigned route and service properties to company standards
• Operate commercial lawn equipment safely and efficiently
• Mix, load, and apply fertilizer and weed control products per label instructions (applicator role)
• Maintain a clean, professional appearance on customer properties
• Communicate with crew leads regarding site conditions or concerns
• Perform basic equipment checks and report maintenance needs
• Represent The Groundsman professionally at all times

What We're Looking For

• Reliable, punctual, and able to work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Able to perform physical labor — lifting, walking routes, and being on your feet all day
• Valid driver's license preferred; required for applicator role
• Team player who takes pride in their work
• Previous lawn care, landscaping, or outdoor labor experience is a plus — but not required

What We Offer

• $17 – $24/hr depending on role and experience
• Full paid training — no experience needed, we teach you everything

Schedule

• Monday–Friday; some Saturdays depending on weather and workload
• Service area: Fargo-Moorhead and surrounding communities

Pay: $17.00 - $24.00 per hour
