Duties

• Mow lawns, trim edges, and perform detailed landscaping to ensure pristine appearance and health of turf and plantings
• Operate power tools such as trimmers, blowers, hedge cutters, and other landscaping equipment safely and efficiently
• Maintain garden beds by planting, pruning, weed control, and mulching to promote healthy growth
• Conduct landscape maintenance including shrub trimming, tree care, irrigation system checks, and hardscape upkeep
• Assist with snow plowing during winter months to ensure safe access for clients
• Use hand tools and machinery like excavators for site preparation, planting, or removal tasks
• Perform routine equipment inspections and basic mechanical repairs to keep tools in optimal condition

Requirements

• Demonstrated mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate power tools and landscaping machinery confidently
• Experience in lawn care, landscape maintenance, or gardening preferred but not required; training provided for motivated learners
• Knowledge of horticulture principles including plant health, pruning techniques, and soil management
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions with physical stamina for lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
• Familiarity with construction or hardscape projects is a plus; experience with tree care or arboriculture is desirable
• Strong attention to safety protocols when handling equipment such as excavators or power tools
• Excellent teamwork skills combined with a proactive attitude toward maintenance tasks
