Duties

• Perform mowing, trimming, edging, and general lawn care to maintain pristine turf conditions
• Use hand tools and power tools to install and repair landscaping features such as flower beds, pathways, and hardscape elements
• Operate equipment including excavators and snow plows to support seasonal outdoor projects
• Conduct tree care activities like trimming, pruning, and planting to promote healthy growth
• Maintain irrigation systems by inspecting, repairing, and adjusting sprinklers for optimal watering efficiency
• Assist with landscape maintenance tasks such as soil preparation, planting, mulching, and gardening projects
• Support construction tasks related to outdoor installations and hardscape features while adhering to safety protocols

Skills

• Mechanical knowledge to operate and troubleshoot various landscaping equipment and power tools
• Strong lawn care skills with a keen eye for detail in mowing, edging, and trimming
• Experience in landscape maintenance and gardening practices to enhance outdoor aesthetics
• Knowledge of horticulture principles for plant health and soil management
• Ability to use hand tools effectively for planting, pruning, and minor repairs
• Familiarity with excavation equipment like excavators for larger landscape projects
• Understanding of tree care techniques including trimming and planting for healthy growth
• Skills in irrigation system installation and maintenance for efficient water management
• Basic construction skills for hardscape installation such as patios or walkways
• Ability to perform snow plowing duties during winter months safely and efficiently
• Excellent teamwork skills with a proactive attitude towards outdoor project support

Pay: $15.00 - $17.60 per hour
