Position Overview

CMS Landscaping Corp is seeking a reliable and motivated Lawn Care Technician to join our growing team. This position is responsible for providing high-quality lawn fertilization, weed control, and turf health services to residential and commercial properties.

The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, enjoys working outdoors, and is committed to delivering exceptional service to our customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Apply lawn fertilization and weed control treatments according to company programs
• Operate ride-on spreaders and spray equipment safely and efficiently
• Diagnose common turf issues such as weeds, disease, insects, and nutrient deficiencies
• Communicate recommended services to customers when appropriate
• Maintain accurate service records using company software
• Ensure equipment is maintained and kept clean
• Follow all state pesticide regulations and safety guidelines
• Provide professional and courteous customer interactions
• Maintain productivity and route efficiency

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
• Ability to obtain or hold a Massachusetts Pesticide Applicator License (Category 37)
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and walk properties regularly

Preferred Experience

• Previous lawn care, landscaping, or turf management experience
• Knowledge of turfgrass, fertilizers, and herbicides
• Experience operating spreader/sprayer equipment
