Lawn/Landscape Maintenance Foreman/Snow Removal Crew Member

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring safe and efficient snow removal from parking lots, and other designated areas during winter weather conditions. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. During summer months leading a crew in landscape maintenance tasks, including lawn care, tree care, and landscaping

Responsibilities

• Operate snow plow equipment to clear snow and ice from driveways and parking lots.
• Monitor weather conditions and respond promptly to changing weather patterns.
• Maintain equipment in good working order by performing regular inspections and minor repairs.
• Collaborate with team members to coordinate snow removal efforts effectively.
• Ensure that all safety protocols are followed during operations to protect yourself and others.
• Communicate with supervisors regarding any issues or concerns related to snow removal operations.
• Assist in landscape maintenance tasks during off-season periods, including lawn care, tree care and landscaping.

Skills

• Proven experience in operating heavy machinery, particularly snow plows.
• Strong leadership abilities to supervise team members during summer and winter work
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in adverse weather conditions.
• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and supervisors.
• A commitment to safety standards and practices in all aspects of work.

Pay: $17.00 - $30.00 per hour
