Rain is growing—and we’re looking for a mid-level Lawyer to join our high-impact legal team.

About the Role

As our Lawyer , you’ll be a key contributor to Rain’s legal function, partnering closely with cross-functional teams to provide high-quality legal and regulatory support. You’ll own medium- and long-term workstreams with limited supervision, act as a trusted advisor to the business, and help build scalable internal legal frameworks.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in dynamic environments, enjoys solving complex commercial and regulatory problems, and wants to play a meaningful part in the evolution of fintech and digital assets in the region.

What You’ll Do

Commercial & Contracting

• Draft, review, and negotiate complex commercial agreements, including technology, services, partnership, and API/data-sharing agreements.
• Build and maintain contract templates, playbooks, and negotiation guidance.

Financial Services Regulatory Support

• Advise on regional regulatory frameworks.
• Support licensing activities, regulatory filings, and compliance obligations.
• Partner with teams on regulatory change management initiatives.

Governance, Advisory & Internal Enablement

• Provide clear, pragmatic legal advice to internal stakeholders across the business.
• Support corporate governance and board-level matters.
• Assist with data protection compliance (GDPR, ADGM, Bahrain frameworks).
• Own strategic legal projects end-to-end.

Legal Operations

• Help build internal legal policies, guidance notes, and scalable frameworks.
• Improve legal processes to increase visibility, efficiency, and impact.

The Ideal Candidate should have:

• Qualified lawyer.
• 3-5 years experience in reputable firms.
• Strong academic background.
• Essential legal experience in UAE and wider GCC.
