Job Brief:
Shuraa is currently hiring for its client who is into Legal Consulting. They are looking for an ambitious, dynamic, and energetic corporate lawyer to join on board.
Candidate suitable for this role should hold extensive knowledge about the UAE Legal Corporate Laws and will be responsible for representing our clients in the court. The objective of this role is to provide guidance on corporate governance, negotiation, contracts drafting, case preparations and court proceedings.
Responsibilities
- Review      and interpret legal matters, draft, and amend legal documents such as      commercial and civil contracts, legal briefs, power of attorney,      complaints, and legal notices.
- Responsible      for all legal works in civil, commercial and litigation.
- Handling      administrative litigation, arbitration and dispute proceedings and      resolutions.
- Provide      legal guidance in structuring, drafting, and negotiating commercial terms      related to sales, real estate, rental disputes, intellectual property, and      regulatory compliance.
- Monitor      changes in relevant laws regulations and other compliance regulations.
- Advice      on governance legislation and procedural matters.
- File      lawsuits of eviction of the leased premises against tenants, and present      rental disputes before RDSC.
- Effectively      discusses and advises clients on complex legal matters and collaborative      supports development of responses to challenging situations.
- Leads      a team of legal professionals on all corporate needs, establishing      processes relating to prioritization, legal drafting of documents,      negotiation procedures and settlement protocols.
- Contributes      to company’s strategic planning and decision-making processes, support the      allocation of resources, and manage legal budgets.
- Responsible      for ensuring that all allegations of legal misconduct are investigated and      reported in a timely manner to maintain integrity within the business.
Requirements:
- Past      experience as a Lawyer in a corporate legal consultancy setup.
- Minimum      1- 2 years’ experience leading legal guidance and strategy regarding data      privacy and intellectual property with a professional Law degree
- Successful      experience leading negotiations on complex, high value contracts, and      agreements.
- Track-record      of developing and producing effective and high-quality legal documents      including contracts, board minutes, and corporate governance documents.
- Good      customer management skills with strong project management, interpersonal,      collaborative and communication skills.
