Lead Advanced Analytics Engineer (AI)

Scope:

• Take over and maintain all backend API services (FastAPI) from Day 1 of the engagement.
• Manage and optimise AI/LLM integrations including Azure OpenAI and Google Gemini, covering prompt tuning, token budget management, and model version upgrades.
• Develop, debug, and maintain MCP (Model Context Protocol) tools and integrations.
• Operate and optimise the RAG system, including pgvector embeddings, chunking, retrieval quality, and index refresh.
• Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines from external data sources and SharePoint, and own database schema management, migrations, and query tuning (PostgreSQL).
• Maintain and periodically retrain the ML prediction models supporting the platform.

Job

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, AI/ML, or Software Engineering.
• 5+ years of backend or full-stack development experience, including at least 2 years operating LLM/GenAI production systems.
• Mandatory hands-on experience with FastAPI (Python), Azure OpenAI or equivalent LLM APIs, and vector databases (pgvector, Pinecone, Weaviate, or equivalent).
• Experience with MCP tools, LangChain or equivalent, and the Python data science stack (pandas, numpy, scikit-learn, XGBoost).
• Full-time on-site in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
