About TNT Kidz Center LLC

We’re not just a preschool—we’re a character development program rooted in play-based, risk-based, and all-weather learning. Through hands-on exploration and collaborative play, children develop core character traits like resilience, empathy, responsibility, and courage.

We’re looking for a Lead Afterschool Teacher who believes in the power of play and is passionate about helping young children become kind, confident, and capable human beings.

What You'll Do

  • Design and deliver engaging lesson plans that promote character growth alongside early academic development.
  • Create a classroom culture where responsibility, respectfulness, safety, and kindness are lived and celebrated daily.
  • Provide safe & reliable transportation for students ages TK/K through 7th grade. *Must have clean driving record
  • Embrace outdoor learning in all weather, encouraging exploration, risk-taking, and problem-solving.
  • Lead hands-on activities that spark curiosity and support development in social-emotional, cognitive, and physical domains.
  • Provide individualized support, adapting to the unique needs of each child, including early intervention strategies.
  • Partner with families to share progress, goals, and strategies for continued character development at home.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment that encourages both freedom and responsibility.
  • Model lifelong learning, positive communication, and calm conflict resolution.

What You Bring

  • A deep love for working with preschoolers and a belief that who they are becoming matters just as much as what they are learning.
  • Solid understanding of child development and early childhood education best practices.
  • Experience in a preschool, nature-based, or alternative learning environment.
  • Enthusiasm for messy play, outdoor adventures, and real-world problem-solving.
  • Strong classroom management skills and a collaborative spirit.
  • Excellent communication with children, caregivers, and coworkers.

Educational Requirements

(12) post-secondary semester units in Early Childhood Education or Child Development, including:

  • Child, Growth and Development
  • Child, Family and Community
  • Program and Curriculum
  • ECE Elective *must be Infant and Toddler Development when working with Infants.

Pay: $18.00-21.00 per hour
