Lead - AI Engineer (Pune /Mumbai)

Location: Mumbai/Pune

We are hiring a hands-on AI Lead to head all AI/ML initiatives, manage a focused team (1 Data Scientist, 1 ML Engineer, 1 Intern), and deliver production-ready AI solutions. The role covers NLP, Computer Vision, Generative AI, Recommendation Systems, Predictive Analytics, Conversational AI, and Intelligent Automation with applications in the AEC industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead AI research, tool evaluation, and strategy aligned with business needs.
• Build & deploy models using TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, OpenCV.
• Develop NLP solutions (spaCy, NLTK, Hugging Face Transformers).
• Backend integration with FastAPI/Flask.
• Deploy models via Docker, Kubernetes, AWS/GCP/Azure ML.
• Track & version models with MLflow, DVC.
• Data handling with Pandas, NumPy; Visualization with Matplotlib, Seaborn, Power BI/Tableau.
• Ensure ethical AI practices & data governance.
• Manage AI lifecycle from prototyping to production monitoring.

Qualifications

• BE/BTech or ME/MTech in Computer Science, Data Science, AI/ML.
• 4–5 years’ experience in end-to-end AI/ML projects.
• Strong in Python (must-have); R is a plus.
• Knowledge of SQL/NoSQL databases.
• Leadership skills with proven ability to mentor small teams.

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to AEC/design workflows or other data-rich industries.
• Ability to translate business problems into AI-driven solutions.
