Overview:
We are seeking a highly experienced and visionary Lead AI Specialist & Project Manager to spearhead the implementation and management of artificial intelligence initiatives within our organization. The ideal candidate will possess a unique blend of deep AI technical expertise, extensive project management acumen, and proven leadership in delivering complex AI/ML solutions. This role requires a professional with a strong understanding of Generative AI, advanced prompt engineering, and a comprehensive grasp of various AI concepts, coupled with a minimum of 10 years of experience in project management.
Responsibilities:
Project Management & Leadership:

Lead and manage the full lifecycle of AI projects from conception to deployment, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet defined quality standards.

Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope definition, objective setting, resource allocation, and timeline management.

Identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with AI projects, developing proactive strategies to ensure project success.

Coordinate and facilitate communication among cross-functional teams, including data scientists, machine learning engineers, developers, business analysts, and stakeholders.

Implement and adapt agile methodologies and iterative delivery approaches for AI projects, managing evolving scopes and prioritizing iterations.

Manage project budgets, track expenditures, and ensure cost-effectiveness throughout the project lifecycle.

Conduct regular project reviews, post-project evaluations, and foster continuous improvement by capturing lessons learned.
AI Strategy & Technical Expertise:

Develop and implement a comprehensive AI strategy aligned with organizational goals, identifying opportunities for AI integration to drive efficiency and innovation.

Utilize advanced Generative AI tools and techniques to enhance creative processes, automate operations, and optimize business functions.

Design, develop, and refine prompts for various Generative AI applications (e.g., text generation, image creation, code completion), experimenting with different prompt techniques to optimize model performance.

Act as a thought leader in prompt engineering best practices, model safety, and responsible AI design.

Collaborate with technical teams on data management, model development, deployment, and evaluation of advanced AI trends and tools.

Leverage machine learning and data analytics to extract actionable insights from project data and market trends to inform decision-making.

Ensure ethical considerations, data privacy, and responsible AI principles are embedded throughout the AI project lifecycle.

Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in AI technologies, including machine learning, deep learning, natural language processing (NLP), and computer vision.

Develop and maintain a prompt library or repository for reuse and knowledge sharing.
Qualifications:
Education & Certifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related technical field is a plus.

Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent is highly desirable.

Advanced Certification in Prompt Engineering (e.g., from institutions like IBM, Coursera, or NVIDIA) is required, demonstrating expertise in creating effective prompts for Generative AI models
Experience:

Minimum of 10+ years of progressive experience in Project Management, with a proven track record of successfully leading and delivering complex technology projects, preferably in AI/ML domains.

Extensive experience with Generative AI models and applications, including practical experience in designing and optimizing prompts for desired outputs.

Demonstrated experience in implementing AI solutions, ideally within a relevant industry.

Proficiency in project management software and tools like JIRA

Technical Skills:

Strong understanding of core AI concepts, applications, and technologies (e.g., machine learning, deep learning, NLP, computer vision).

Expertise in prompt engineering for various Generative AI models.

Familiarity with data analytics, visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI), and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).

Understanding of AI security threats and mitigation strategies.

Knowledge of the AI project lifecycle, from problem definition to operationalization and monitoring.
