As a Lead Associate in Buying & Merchandizing, you will play a crucial role in managing the buying and merchandizing processes within the organization. With 3.0-6.0 years of experience, you will be responsible for leading and overseeing the procurement of goods, ensuring optimal inventory levels, and developing merchandising strategies that drive sales and profitability.

Roles And Responsibilities

  • Lead the buying and merchandizing team, providing guidance and direction to achieve business goals.
  • Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to negotiate contracts and agreements that are beneficial for the organization.
  • Analyze market trends, consumer behavior, and competitor activities to make informed buying decisions.
  • Develop merchandising plans, including product assortment, pricing strategies, and promotional activities.
  • Monitor inventory levels and optimize stock replenishment processes to prevent stockouts and overstock situations.
  • Work closely with sales and marketing teams to align buying and merchandizing strategies with overall business objectives.
  • Utilize data analytics and performance metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of buying and merchandizing strategies.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in buying and merchandizing to drive innovation and continuous improvement.

This role requires strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a deep understanding of market dynamics.
