Full-Time | Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM | No Weekends

Position Overview: We are hiring a high-level Lead Technician to take ownership of diagnostics, lead other technicians, and help drive the technical direction of our shop.

White Front Shop is a long-standing, family-owned business that has recently undergone major reinvestment, including new lifts, a brand new Hunter alignment rack, and continued upgrades to tooling and capability. Our focus is on drivability, alignment, steering, and suspension diagnostics, while also providing full-service mechanical repair.

This role is for a technician who can solve complex problems, lead from the front, and ensure the highest level of quality across the shop.

Responsibilities

Perform advanced diagnostics across:
Steering, suspension, and alignment systems
Drivability concerns (vibrations, pulls, ride quality issues)
Brake systems
Hydraulic and electronic power steering systems
Serve as the lead diagnostic technician and escalation point
Interpret alignment results and diagnose root causes (not just adjustments)
Identify when repairs require mechanical correction, custom spring work, or fabrication solutions
Train, mentor, and support other technicians
Maintain quality control and reduce comebacks
Work with service advisors to manage workflow and production

Qualifications

7+ years of professional automotive repair experience
Strong diagnostic ability across multiple vehicle systems
Solid understanding of how drivability, suspension, steering, and braking systems interact
Experience leading or mentoring other technicians
High level of accountability and attention to detail

Preferred (not required):

ASE Certification
Alignment and suspension diagnostic experience
Familiarity with custom work or fabrication environments

Work Environment & Schedule

Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
No weekends
No extended hours

Compensation & Benefits

$40–$55 per hour DOE
