We are looking for candidates with bartending experience (and an interest in video games and retro media would be additionally helpful!)

This position could lead to a Bar Manager position over time.

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting cocktails, serving beverages, and creating an inviting atmosphere for our guests.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and standards.
• Engage with customers to take drink orders and provide recommendations based on their preferences.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces.
• Monitor customer consumption of alcohol to ensure responsible service.
• Handle cash transactions accurately using the POS system.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food service when necessary.
• Assist in inventory management by tracking supplies and placing orders as needed.
• Uphold health and safety regulations, including proper food handling practices.

Skills

• Strong customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming environment for guests.
• Experience in food service or the food industry, particularly in fine dining or nightclub settings.
• Proficient in retail math for managing transactions and inventory.
• Familiarity with POS systems for efficient order processing.
• Knowledge of food handling practices to ensure compliance with health regulations.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and interpersonal, to effectively interact with customers and team members.
• Sales skills to promote menu items and enhance guest experiences through upselling techniques.
• Experience in catering events is a plus but not required.
