Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Lead Bartender to elevate our beverage service and lead our bar team with enthusiasm and professionalism. In this role, you will oversee daily bar operations, craft exceptional cocktails, and ensure an outstanding guest experience. Duties

  • Lead the bar team by example, providing guidance on drink preparation, customer service, and operational procedures to ensure a seamless experience for guests
  • Prepare and serve a wide variety of beverages, including craft cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic options with precision and flair
  • Manage bar inventory by monitoring stock levels, placing orders, and minimizing waste to optimize profitability
  • Ensure compliance with all food safety and alcohol service regulations, including proper food handling and responsible serving practices
  • Oversee cash handling and POS transactions using systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to ensure accuracy and accountability
  • Train new staff members on beverage recipes, customer service standards, POS operations, and safety protocols
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in accordance with health standards while fostering a lively atmosphere that encourages guest engagement

Skills

  • Extensive experience in fine dining settings or nightclubs with a strong background in food industry standards
  • Proficiency with POS systems such as Toast for efficient sales processing
  • Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders swiftly during busy hours
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to connect with diverse guests and create memorable experiences
  • Knowledge of food safety practices, food handling procedures, and responsible alcohol service regulations
  • Previous banquet or catering experience preferred for managing large groups or special events
  • Basic math skills including retail math for cash handling, sales tracking, and inventory management
  • Familiarity with brewing processes or hospitality industry trends is a plus but not required
