We are seeking a Lead Bartender to play a central role in both beverage service and front-of-house operations. This is not a traditional bartending position. The role blends elements of bartender, sommelier, and floor presence, with a strong emphasis on guest experience and wine engagement.

You will be expected to lead from the floor, manage the bar, support service, and help shape how guests experience our wine program.

Responsibilities

  • Execute full bar service with a focus on wine and a small, refined cocktail program
  • Guide guests through wine selections and pairings with confidence
  • Maintain a strong presence on the floor, supporting overall service flow
  • Collaborate closely with ownership and the chef on guest experience
  • Assist with opening and closing procedures
  • Support inventory awareness and general organization of the bar program
  • Contribute to a high-touch, hospitality-driven environment

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong bartending experience in a quality-driven environment
  • Genuine interest in wine (formal certifications are a plus but not required)
  • Comfortable engaging with guests and leading conversations
  • Ability to operate in a small, team-oriented setting
  • Professional, polished, and detail-oriented
  • Someone who values consistency, hospitality, and accountability

Additional Notes

  • This is a hands-on role in a small team, ideal for someone looking to be part of building something from the ground up
  • Schedule will generally be 4–5 days per week, evenings and weekends required
