As the brand continues to grow across tours, events, campaigns, and studio programming, we are looking for a highly talented in-house Visual Content Lead to help shape and capture the visual world of WeaponUp.

Position Overview
The Visual Content Lead will be responsible for filming, editing, and helping execute the creative visual direction of WeaponUp across all major brand touchpoints. This includes studio content, social media, marketing campaigns, tours, events, photoshoots, and commercial-style productions.
This person will own the visual production process from capture through post-production, ensuring all content aligns with the WeaponUp brand. They will also support broader visual needs of the company, including graphic design and creative asset development where needed.
We are looking for someone with a strong aesthetic eye, excellent technical ability, and the drive to build with us. This is a highly hands-on role for someone who is excited to work closely with the founder and team to create a visually compelling and culturally distinct brand.
Key Responsibilities
- Film all core WeaponUp content across studio classes, marketing shoots, campaigns, events, tours, and brand activations
- Edit short-form and long-form video content in alignment with the WeaponUp brand aesthetic and tone
- Capture and produce social-first content for platforms including Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and other digital channels
- Lead and execute creative photo and video shoots, including campaign shoots, launch assets, commercial-style productions, and brand storytelling content
- Work closely with the founder and team to plan content shoots and bring creative concepts to life
- Help maintain visual consistency across all video and photo assets
- Manage footage, file organization, editing workflows, and content delivery across multiple projects and timelines
- Support post-production processes including sound selection, color correction, pacing, basic motion graphics, formatting, and export
- Assist in the creation of graphic design assets and branded visual materials as needed
- Travel with WeaponUp for tours, events, retreats, or offsite shoots as required
- Help document the growth of the brand in a way that feels elevated, cinematic, and true to the company’s identity
- Stay current with visual trends, digital storytelling formats, and best practices in content creation while maintaining a distinct brand voice
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional experience in videography, video production, and editing, ideally in-house or as a lead creative for a brand, agency, production company, or fast-paced content environment
- Proven experience owning the full production process from pre-production through post-production, including shoot planning, filming, directing on set, ingesting footage, editing, color correction, sound refinement, formatting, and delivery
- Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, especially:
- Adobe Premiere Pro for editing
- Adobe After Effects for motion graphics, text animation, and light visual effects
- Adobe Lightroom and Adobe Photoshop for photo editing, retouching, and visual asset preparation
- Adobe Illustrator and Adobe InDesign are a strong plus for brand and graphic design support
- Strong working knowledge of professional production tools and workflows, including:
- Mirrorless and cinema cameras such as Sony, Canon, or Blackmagic
- A variety of lenses for portrait, movement, studio, and event capture
- Gimbals, tripods, monopods, and handheld stabilization systems
- Lighting setups for both controlled studio shoots and fast-moving live environments
- Professional audio gear including wireless mics, shotgun mics, field recorders, and on-camera sound capture
- File management, media backup, footage organization, and archive workflows
- Strong understanding of filming for multiple outputs and aspect ratios, including vertical short-form, long-form studio content, campaign assets, social media cutdowns, interviews, behind-the-scenes content, and event recaps
- Demonstrated ability to create polished, on-brand content with strong instincts for composition, pacing, color, movement, lighting, and visual storytelling
- Experience leading or heavily supporting creative photo shoots and video shoots, including campaign production, location shoots, branded content, and commercial-style execution
- Strong understanding of content creation for digital platforms including Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and paid or organic social marketing
- Experience working within a defined brand identity and maintaining visual consistency across all content outputs
- Ability to manage multiple projects at once, stay highly organized, and meet deadlines in a fast-moving environment
- Experience in fitness, wellness, fashion, lifestyle, or female-focused consumer brands is strongly preferred
- Comfortable traveling for productions, tours, retreats, and live events, and able to work flexible hours when shoots require it
