Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Provide L2 operational support for SD-WAN solutions (Cisco Viptela, Fortinet, Versa, Aruba, or similar).

Troubleshoot SD-WAN related incidents, connectivity issues, and performance problems.

Manage and support SD-WAN controllers, edge devices, and related components.

Perform configuration, monitoring, and health checks of WAN/SD-WAN devices.

Collaborate with L1, L3, and vendor support teams for issue resolution.

Implement approved changes, upgrades, and patches on SD-WAN devices.

Work on integration of SD-WAN with existing WAN/MPLS networks.

Ensure compliance with network security standards and policies.

Prepare and maintain operational documentation, SOPs, and incident reports.

Participate in 24x7 support with on-call rotation (if applicable).

Required Skills & Experience

5–7 years of overall networking experience, with SD-WAN.

Strong knowledge of SD-WAN platforms (Cisco Viptela, Versa, Fortinet, etc.).

Expertise in WAN technologies: MPLS, IPSec, GRE, BGP, OSPF, QoS.

Experience in routing, switching, and firewall basics.

Hands-on troubleshooting skills using monitoring and diagnostic tools.

Familiarity with ITIL processes (incident, change, problem management).

Strong communication and documentation skills.

Desired Skill sets

Good knowledge on implementation, installation, integration troubleshooting and overall functionalities

Experience in troubleshooting platform related issues, data backup, restoration, retention

Maintains awareness of latest technologies in the domain
