Lead Caregiver

This lead caregiver for Homewatch Caregivers, a home care agency, will have 40+/- hours available per week and paid gas. Homewatch values teamwork, a positive attitude and a will to help others.

Job Duties: Daily activity needs for the client will vary from person to person. Typical tasks include personal care, medication reminders, housekeeping, meal preparation, companionship, transportation, and running errands for the client.

As a lead caregiver, you need to be willing to work with all levels of care from errand running to companion care to heavy personal care.

Caregivers will read care plans and write care notes every shift they work.

• Clear English is required.
• CPR, First Aid preferred
• Clean driving record
• Clean Background
• HCA or CNA Certification

Responsibilities:

• Provide compassionate care to clients, assisting with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation.
• Monitor and document patient observations, ensuring their safety and well-being.
• Administer first aid and CPR when necessary, while maintaining a clean and organized living environment.
• Drive residents to appointments and community activities, fostering social engagement and support.
