Job Title: Lead Carpenter

We’re looking for a skilled Lead Carpenter to join our team and take ownership of day-to-day project execution. This role is ideal for someone with strong finish carpentry skills who enjoys mentoring others, solving problems in the field, and delivering polished work in residential remodeling.

What you’ll do

• Lead daily carpentry tasks including trim, doors, cabinetry installs, framing, and general remodeling
• Support and guide apprentices or subs on-site
• Interpret blueprints and schematics to execute construction plans accurately.
• Perform frame carpentry, trim carpentry, and cabinet installation with precision.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various construction tasks.
• Read plans and collaborate with project managers for smooth execution
• Help ensure jobsites are clean, safe, and ready for the next phase
• Communicate professionally with clients and trades
• Perform occasional light demo

Tools

You’ll bring your own standard tool set of basic hand and power tools.
We provide support for business-related equipment needs including:

• Tool stipend to supplement and upgrade as needed

• Able to read and interpret drawings
• Solid understanding of remodeling processes

• Professional communication and client interaction
• Basic drywall or plaster repair is a plus
