Lead Civil & Structural Engineer

DRAWLINES ENGINEERING CONSULT is looking for a Lead Civil & Structural Engineer in Doha-Qatar

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform and review civil and structural design and analysis for foundations, steel structures, concrete structures, pipe racks, equipment supports and marine structures as required for oil & gas projects.
• Develop detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and calculations in compliance with international codes (AISC, API, ASCE, BS, Eurocode).
• Conduct structural analysis using advanced software (STAAD.Pro, SACS, ETABS, SAFE, SAP2000).
• Ensure designs meet project technical requirements, safety standards, and constructability.
• Lead a team of engineers and designers to deliver projects within schedule and budget.
• Coordinate with other disciplines for integrated engineering solutions.
• Prepare and review technical documents, design reports, material specifications, and construction deliverables.
• Participate in FEED, detailed engineering, and EPC support activities.
• Ensure adherence to company quality systems, project specifications, and client requirements.
• Review vendor drawings, subcontractor designs, and ensure compliance with project standards.
• Interface with clients for technical discussions, design approvals, and progress reviews.
• Provide technical support during procurement, construction, and commissioning phases.

QUALIFICATION:

• Education: B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering
• Experience: 15+ years in oil & gas sector (onshore/offshore projects, in consultancy).
• Strong knowledge of international design codes (API, AISC, ASCE, BS, Eurocode).
• Proficient in structural analysis and design software: STAAD.Pro, SACS, ETABS, SAFE, SAP2000.
• Excellent knowledge of concrete and steel design, soil-structure interaction, and foundation engineering.
• Familiar with FEED and detailed design phases of oil & gas projects.
• Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills.
