Inviting applications for the role of Lead Consultant-Dynamics 365 F&O Technical Developer
We are seeking a skilled -Dynamics 365 F&O Technical Developer with strong expertise in integration development, Data Management Framework (DMF), and Finance data entities. The candidate will work closely with functional teams, architects, and integration partners to design, build, and support robust data interfaces across the D365 ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Integration Development
- Design and develop integrations between D365 Finance and external systems using:
o DMF, Data Entities
o REST/SOAP APIs
o OData
o Batch jobs & Recurring integrations
o Azure Integration Services (Logic Apps, Service Bus, Functions)
- Build custom data entities, APIs, and frameworks required for project-specific needs.
- Optimize data loads for high-volume financial transactions and master data.
2. Data Management & Migration
- Execute end-to-end data migration activities via DMF, including:
o Data mapping
o Data staging
o Bulk import/export
o Pre-validation and cleansing
- Deep understanding of standard Finance module data models (GL, AP, AR, FA, Bank, Tax).
- Create reusable templates, packages, and automation for migration cycles.
3. Technical Design & Development
- Create technical design documents (TDD), integration design specs, and data flow diagrams.
- Develop extensions, customizations, and enhancements using X++, custom services, and batch frameworks.
- Ensure adherence to Microsoft best practices and Success by Design principles.
4. Issue Resolution & Support
- Analyze integration failures, DMF import errors, and performance issues.
- Debug X++ code, evaluate trace parser logs, and optimize entity performance.
- Provide technical support during SIT, UAT, and production cutover.
5. Collaboration
- Work with functional consultants to understand Finance processes and data dependencies.
- Collaborate with data/integration architects to ensure alignment with enterprise patterns.
- Support DevOps setup for builds, deployments, and environment refresh activities.

Qualification we seek in You!
Minimum Qualification:
- Strong experience in D365 Finance & Operations technical development.
- Strong hands-on experience with:
o DMF, Data Entities (standard & custom)
o X++, extensions, customizations
o OData, custom services, and APIs
o Azure Logic Apps, Service Bus, Functions (preferred)
o SQL, debugging tools, performance tuning
- Strong understanding of Finance module data structures (GL, AP, AR, Bank, Tax, FA).
Domain & Functional Understanding
- Finance process flows: invoicing, payments, ledger posting, settlement.
- End-to-end data lifecycle within D365 Finance.
- Data governance, reconciliation, and data quality concepts.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Preferred Qualification:
Soft Skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work in an agile, fast-paced environment.
- Clear communication and documentation skills.
Good to Have
- Experience with dual-write, CDS, Dataverse.
- Experience in multi-ERP migration landscapes.
- Familiarity with Microsoft’s FastTrack / Success by Design guidelines.
- Experience with automated data migration tools or RPA-based extraction.
Education
- Microsoft D365 certifications (Finance/D365 Developer) preferred.
