Your Impact

This role plays a key role in driving digital transformation across our mining operations. In this position, you’ll collaborate closely with teams in Mining, Processing, Fixed and Mobile Asset Management, and Safety & Sustainability to bring innovative digital solutions to life—solutions that make our processes more efficient, productive, and safe.

You’ll help connect teams, encourage innovation, and ensure every digital initiative truly supports our operational goals and brings measurable value to the business. You’ll also stay involved throughout the project lifecycle: sharing updates, supporting reviews, solving challenges, guiding project teams, and helping keep deliverables on track, on time, and within budget

As Part of Our Team, You Will
  • Implement digital solutions to improve operational efficiency and performance across various functions such as HR and Finance.
  • Engage in stakeholder collaboration by closely partnering with business teams to gain a deep understanding of their unique needs and challenge
  • Ensure smooth access and analysis of data by supervising the integration of information from different operational sources. This aids in making well-informed decisions.
  • Develop metrics and systems to track the effects of digital enablement projects on business efficiency.
  • Ensure thorough documentation of digital enablement processes and compliance measures to uphold industry standards and regulatory mandates professionally.


Prerequisites for Your Success in This Role
  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Information Technology, Business, Industrial Engineering, or related fields
  • Senior-level experience in similar leadership or digital enablement roles
  • Strong ability to translate organizational goals into clear priorities for the team
  • Proven experience coaching and mentoring team members to strengthen analytical, digital, and operational capabilities
  • Ability to transform data insights into actionable strategies for senior leadership
  • Demonstrated ability to build a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and accountability
  • Skilled at aligning digital enablement initiatives with enterprise‑level objectives
  • Strong decision‑making skills, using data to guide direction and resource allocation
  • Experience overseeing the development of dashboards, tools, and analytics that support leaders across the organization
  • Commitment to ensuring quality and consistency of deliverables while establishing best practices
  • Ability to facilitate cross‑functional collaboration, remove roadblocks, and enable team success
  • Proactive in identifying risks and creating mitigation plans to keep initiatives on track
  • Champion of data‑driven thinking across the organization, promoting analytics and digital solutions
Your Work Environment
  • You will work within Newmont’s global Digital organization, partnering with project managers, IT teams, Finance, and business stakeholders.
  • The role operates in a dynamic, global environment supporting multiple initiatives at varying stages of delivery.
  • Work is Hybrid with collaboration across regions and time zones.

The salary range offered for this role is USD $121,900- 170,625. The salary range is tied to the Colorado market for jobs performed in Colorado. The salary offer to the successful candidate will be based on job-related education, training, and/or experience. The salary offer will not be based on a candidate’s salary history at other jobs, and by law, Newmont will not seek information about salary history, and candidates should not share such information with Newmont.


This role will be eligible for participation in a discretionary annual bonus program, pursuant to which an employee may be awarded a percentage of their salary based on the company’s performance and their own individual performance.
