Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced senior data analytics professional to support our market research engagements (quantitative and qualitative methods) by transforming raw, multi-source data into accurate, decision-ready insights. The role includes hands-on data processing experience (cleaning, coding, merging, weighting), statistical analysis, and reporting to help our clients answer business questions across brand research, customer insights and segmentation, pricing studies, and market trends (index creation).

In addition to delivery, the role provides analytics consulting across the research lifecycle by advising on research design, sample design, questionnaire design, and appropriate statistical methods. The analyst will work closely with the business development and sales teams to support the design of end-to-end primary market research solutions (quant/qual) and participate in proposal development, RFPs, and RFQs.


Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with team members and provide support on quant/qual research design, develop market study design, and analysis plans.

• Advise on sample design, representativity, statistical testing strategy, and interpretation of results.

• Create and update written materials describing analytic approaches, methods, and processes.

• Support survey scripting activities, especially on coding and implementation, partnering with scripting teams to ensure the programmed survey aligns with the questionnaire and the end goals of the research.

• Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets from multiple sources, including surveys, ensuring full alignment with the questionnaire and analysis plan.

• Analyze qualitative inputs (open-ended questions, interviews/focus group outputs) by developing code frames/taxonomies, synthesizing themes, and quantifying patterns where appropriate.

• Apply weighting and sampling adjustments, if needed, and prepare tabulations/crosstabs based on project specifications.

• Summarize and profile survey responses through descriptive techniques, such as weighted frequencies, summary statistics, profiling, and trend analysis.

• Conduct advanced statistical techniques to uncover relationships and drivers: correlation and regression, driver analysis, segmentation, factor analysis, and conjoint diagnostics.

• Apply advanced research methodologies, including conjoint/DCE, MaxDiff, pricing (PSM and Gabor-Granger) studies, needs-based segmentation, NPS or CSAT/CES studies.

• Translate findings into clear narratives, charts, dashboards, and recommendations.

• Build automations to streamline delivery, reduce manual effort, and improve quality.


Core Competencies:

• Strong understanding of survey data structures, questionnaire logic, and common market research outputs.

• Ability to select and apply appropriate statistical methods, interpret results, and communicate them to the reporting team or the client.

• Good understanding of various quantitative and qualitative methodologies.

• Accuracy in data handling, coding, and documentation.

Comfortable working in dynamic environments and adapting to evolving technologies and business needs.

• Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly and concisely to non-technical audiences, including clients or internal stakeholders.

• Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including data analysts, scientists, and business stakeholders

• Proactive in identifying issues and implementing effective solutions


Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, Sociology, or Marketing.

• Minimum of 5+ years of hands-on experience in primary market research and advanced survey analytics.

• Proficiency in SPSS, Python, SQL, Excel (Power Query, DAX, and Cube Formulas).


Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with survey scripting platforms (Qualtrics, Forsta, Confirmit) and coding languages (HTML/CSS/JS).

• Experience or knowledge of data visualization techniques and data visualizations tools (PowerBI, Tableau).
