Lead Data Integration Engineer

We are seeking an accomplished and visionary Lead Data Integration Engineer to drive the strategy, architecture, and execution of our data integration initiatives.

In this pivotal role, you will lead the design, development, and optimization of scalable, high-performance data engineering solutions, ensuring seamless data flow across the organization. You will mentor a team of engineers, collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, and champion best practices to build a robust and future-ready data ecosystem.

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end design, development, and optimization of robust, scalable, and reusable ETL/ELT solutions to meet evolving business and analytical needs
• Architect and oversee the automation of data extraction, transformation, and loading processes across diverse sources and destinations
• Guide the development and optimization of data pipelines for both structured and unstructured data in modern cloud environments
• Mentor and provide technical leadership to data integration engineers, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement
• Partner with engineering, analytics, and business teams to define data integration strategies and ensure alignment with organizational goals
• Establish and enforce best practices for data ingestion, transformation, provisioning, and data quality
• Evaluate and recommend new tools, technologies, and methodologies to enhance the data integration landscape
• Ensure the scalability, reliability, and security of data workflows and pipelines
• Drive initiatives to improve data architecture, performance optimization, and pipeline scalability

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in data integration, data engineering, or data warehousing, with at least 1-2 years in a technical leadership or lead role
• Experience with Databricks for unified data analytics and processing
• Advanced proficiency in Python and PySpark for data engineering and automation
• Proven experience architecting and implementing complex ETL/ELT pipelines
• Deep hands-on experience with SQL/NoSQL databases for data processing and advanced querying
• Strong expertise with orchestration tools such as Apache Airflow
• In-depth knowledge of cloud data warehousing solutions (e.g., Snowflake, Azure, AWS)
• Demonstrated ability to design scalable, high-performance data architectures and optimize data workflows
• Excellent leadership, team collaboration, and communication skills
• Proactive, strategic mindset with a focus on delivering high-quality, timely solutions
• B2+ English proficiency

Nice to have

• Background in integrating diverse data sources across multiple cloud platforms
• Familiarity with additional scripting languages to enhance automation and integration
• Experience with advanced data management, modeling techniques, and data governance
