Lead Daycare Teacher

Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and energetic Lead Daycare Teacher to inspire and nurture young children in a dynamic early childhood education environment. Duties

  • Plan and implement developmentally appropriate curricula that promote early childhood education principles and support individual learning styles.
  • Lead daily classroom activities, fostering a nurturing environment that encourages curiosity, creativity, and social-emotional growth.
  • Supervise and mentor assistant teachers and childcare staff to ensure high-quality care and educational standards are maintained.
  • Conduct regular assessments of children's progress, documenting milestones and communicating effectively with parents and guardians.
  • Ensure safety protocols are rigorously followed, including first aid procedures, emergency response plans, and health guidelines.
  • Manage classroom behavior with positive behavior management techniques to promote respectful interactions among children.
  • Collaborate with families to support each child's unique needs, including those requiring special education or working with children with disabilities.
  • Maintain accurate records of attendance, incident reports, and developmental assessments in compliance with licensing regulations.

Experience

  • Proven experience working with young children in a daycare or preschool setting, demonstrating strong classroom management skills.
  • Prior leadership experience as a lead teacher or in a supervisory role within early childhood education environments.
  • Knowledge of childhood development theories and best practices in early childhood education.
  • Experience working with infants, toddlers, preschoolers, or children with special needs or disabilities is highly desirable.
  • Certification in first aid and CPR is required; additional certifications such as special education training or behavior management are advantageous.
  • Familiarity with curriculum planning for early childhood education programs and classroom safety standards.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with families, staff, and community partners.
