Lead Developer

Job Summary

As a Lead Developer you will be responsible for designing developing and maintaining web applications using Drupal Symphony 2 and other web technologies. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions that meet business requirements. This hybrid role requires a strong technical background and excellent problem-solving skills to drive innovation and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of web applications using Drupal and Symphony 2 to ensure robust and scalable solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements ensuring alignment with business objectives.
• Develop and maintain front-end components using JavaScript CSS and HTML to enhance user experience and interface design.
• Implement back-end functionalities using PHP to support seamless integration with front-end components.
• Optimize application performance by identifying bottlenecks and implementing effective solutions.
• Ensure code quality and maintainability through regular code reviews and adherence to best practices.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
• Coordinate with project managers to ensure timely delivery of projects within scope and budget.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to drive innovation and efficiency.
• Contribute to the development of technical documentation and user guides to support application usage and maintenance.
• Engage in regular team meetings to discuss project progress challenges and opportunities for improvement.

Qualifications

• Possess a strong understanding of Drupal and Symphony 2 with proven experience in developing web applications.
• Demonstrate proficiency in JavaScript CSS and HTML for front-end development.
• Have solid experience in PHP for back-end development and integration.
• Exhibit excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
• Show strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Be adaptable to a hybrid work model balancing remote and in-office work as required.
• Have a minimum of 7 years and a maximum of 11 years of relevant experience in web development.
