Title: Lead Project Managerr
Job Summary
Caterpillar is seeking a highly organized and strategic Project Manager (PMO) to oversee enterprise-wide projects, ensure alignment with organizational goals, and drive delivery excellence. The PMO Project Manager will act as a central coordinator, ensuring governance, compliance, and stakeholder communication across multiple initiatives. This role ensures disciplined program execution, stakeholder alignment, and value realization across global ERP/CRM transformation initiatives.
The ERP solution leverages Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (Finance, Project Operations, Retail) and Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement (Sales, Customer Service, Marketing, Field Service) to optimize dealer operations, enhance customer engagement, streamline project execution, and enable data-driven decision making. ERP PMO experience is preferred, with strong emphasis on Dynamics 365 (F&O and CE).
What You Will Do
PMO Leadership & Governance

Establish and enforce program governance frameworks, delivery standards, and compliance across ERP/CRM initiatives.

Drive portfolio planning, prioritization, and resource allocation to align with Caterpillar’s strategic objectives.

Monitor KPIs (financial accuracy, project efficiency, customer satisfaction, operational agility) to ensure measurable business outcomes.

Champion continuous improvement initiatives to optimize ERP/CRM delivery efficiency and reporting accuracy.

Lead risk management strategies, escalation protocols, and mitigation plans across global programs.
Planning & Execution

Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocation strategies.

Track progress against milestones, budgets, and deliverables.

Drive corrective actions to address risks, delays, or scope changes.

Ensure adherence to Caterpillar’s quality, security, and usability standards across all deliverables.
Program & Project Oversight

Lead cross-functional program planning, sprint execution, and release management across ERP and other integration applications.

Manage coordinated release cycles across ERP/CRM and integrated applications, ensuring minimal disruption.

Oversee testing automation strategies with tools such as Leapwork, Azure App Testing, Playwright, JMeter, Ranorex, Selenium.
Stakeholder & Change Management

Act as the central liaison between Caterpillar Digital leadership, Dealers, and external vendors.

Facilitate workshops, demos, and advisory board discussions to align ERP/CRM transformation goals.

Drive organizational change management, ensuring dealer adoption of standardized processes and ERP templates.

Produce clear documentation, workflows, and playbooks to support training and operational consistency.

Influence senior stakeholders and build consensus across finance, IT, operations, and customer-facing functions.

Collaborate with stakeholders to capture, analyze, and document complex business requirements.

Experience & Qualifications

15–18 years of proven project management experience within PMO environments, preferably in global organizations.

Demonstrated success in ERP/CRM transformation programs (Dynamics 365 F&O/CE highly desirable).

Hands-on expertise with project governance frameworks (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid) and portfolio management tools (MS Project, Azure DevOps, Jira, Power BI).

Experience in budget management, risk mitigation, and compliance for large-scale enterprise projects.

Strong background in reporting and dashboard creation for executive leadership and steering committees.
Certifications (Preferred)

Certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, SAFe, or Agile Scrum Master
