Service Dispatcher - Princeton Air

The Role (Your Day-to-Day)
You’re the control center of the operation.
Every day, you’re managing technician schedules, coordinating service calls, and making real-time decisions that impact customers, technicians, and the entire business.
You’re not just booking calls—you’re:
Optimizing routes for efficiency and profitability
Keeping technicians productive and on track
Making sure customers are informed, prepared, and taken care of
You’ll:
Dispatch technicians one call at a time with precision
Confirm appointments and adjust schedules in real time
Debrief technicians after every call to capture updates
Fill schedule gaps proactively to maximize efficiency
You’re constantly looking ahead—planning 2–3 days out, finalizing tomorrow’s schedule, and making sure nothing falls through the cracks.
Bottom line: You keep the operation running smoothly, efficiently, and profitably.
What You’ll Be Responsible For
Dispatch and schedule service technicians using efficient routing practices
Maintain and manage the dispatch board (2–3 days in advance)
Confirm appointments and communicate updates with customers
Debrief technicians after each call and track job status
Coordinate on-call schedules and review overnight activity
Create and update work orders accurately in the system
Proactively fill schedule gaps and optimize technician productivity
Notify customers of delays, reschedules, or parts availability
Maintain accurate customer records and service history (ServiceTitan)
Coordinate with warehouse regarding parts and cancellations
Communicate scheduling capacity and constraints to management
Support customer satisfaction by resolving basic concerns
1 year of team-lead experience (highly preferred)
What Makes You a Fit
2 years of dispatching, scheduling, or coordination experience
Experience in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, or trade services (strongly preferred)
Strong organizational and multitasking skills
Ability to make real-time decisions under pressure
Excellent communication with customers, technicians, and team members
Customer-first mindset with calm problem-solving ability
Experience with ServiceTitan or similar dispatch software (preferred)
Strong attention to detail in scheduling and data accuracy
Compensation + Perks
Earn $21 - $28 an hour (based on experience — clear and upfront)
