Role: Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) Lead – Operational Readiness Assurance

Contract Type: Contract

Overview:


We are seeking an experienced E&I Lead to ensure electrical and instrumentation systems are fully prepared for safe and efficient operation during the transition from construction and commissioning to steady-state operations. The role focuses on readiness assurance for electrical distribution, control systems, instrumentation, and automation.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Develop and implement readiness plans for electrical and instrumentation systems.
  • Conduct readiness reviews, gap analyses, and audits to ensure compliance with international standards.
  • Collaborate with construction, commissioning, operations, and HSE teams for system integration.
  • Identify and mitigate risks related to electrical and control systems during start-up.
  • Maintain readiness checklists, assurance reports, and dashboards.
  • Support training programmes for operations teams on E&I systems.
  • Act as focal point for E&I readiness assurance with stakeholders.


Qualifications & Experience:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation, or related discipline.
  • 8–10 years’ experience in oil & gas or energy projects, with 5+ years in E&I commissioning or operational readiness.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems (HV/LV), instrumentation, control systems, and automation.
  • Familiarity with operational readiness frameworks and commissioning processes.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
