Lead Electrical Engineer

We are Hiring Lead Electrical Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Lead electrical engineering design activities for the project (HV, MV, LV, and ELV systems).
• Review and approve electrical layouts, single-line diagrams, load calculations, and cable schedules.
• Ensure compliance with IEC, NEC, and other international standards.
• Prepare technical specifications for electrical equipment, transformers, switchgear, and power distribution systems.
• Provide technical support during procurement, construction, testing, and commissioning.
• Conduct site inspections and ensure contractor compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Coordinate with civil, mechanical, and instrumentation teams.

RequirementsQualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 15+ years of relevant experience in oil & gas or EPC projects.
• Certification in electrical safety/Chartered Engineer preferred.
• Proficient in ETAP, Dialux, and other electrical design software.

Mandatory Requirements:

• 15+ years of experience

• Strong QatarEnergy project background

• Valid Qatar Engineering License (MME/MMUP/UPDA)

Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Contract length: 6 months
