Your Role

As a Lead Electrical Engineer , you will be responsible in leading the team of Engineers, reviewing engineering deliverables such as documents, drawings, and calculations for Electrical equipment, ensuring they align with project requirements. Additionally, the role involves coordinating with various interdisciplinary teams, engineering subcontractors, vendors, and the site construction team. Additionally, you will :

• Lead a team of engineers and designers; assign tasks and monitor progress.
• Coordinate cross‑discipline interfaces (Instrumentation, process, piping, mechanical,
• structural, etc.).
• Reviewing and providing comments/approval on the engineering deliverables in accordance
• with project specifications, datasheets, company standards, and international codes and standards.
• Evaluating detailed engineering documents, including datasheets, technical specifications, material requisitions (M.R.), technical bid evaluations (TBE), and vendor documentation reviews (VDR).
• Ensuring compliance with inter-discipline checks (IDC's) and coordinating with other engineering disciplines for effective data integration.
• Verifying ETAP power system study reports performed by vendor.
• Demonstrating knowledge in creating technical requisitions, evaluating technical bids for Electrical equipment, reviewing post-order vendor data, and maintaining communication with vendors.
• Co-ordination with Vendor / site team for resolution of Site queries & other problems encountered during execution.

What We’re Looking For

• Experience: At least 16 to 18 years of experience in Detailed Design in Oil & Gas experience for Electrical Equipment like 33kV GIS Switchgear, 6.6kV Switchgear, LV Switchgear, Existing switchgear modifications, Converter Transformer, HV Variable Frequency Drive, Power and Distribution Transformer, HV/LV Induction Motor, Synchronous Motor, AC UPS, DC UPS, ETAP Power system study, Lighting and small power
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in related engineering discipline i.e. Electrical Engineering, from a recognized university.
• Expertise: . Good communication skills in English (written and oral). Team player, friendly and outgoing. Act as the technical focal point for clients, vendors, and contractors. Clarify technical issues, respond to queries, and present engineering solutions. Ability to work under pressure and take decisions. Review vendor documents: Datasheets, GA drawings, Schematics and wiring diagram, calculations, etc. Provide support during fabrication, installation, and commissioning stages.
