What awaits you in this role?

We are looking for an Lead Engineer-R&D (Vibration & Acoustics) who will join our team at R&D Directorate.

• Understanding of noise generation in mechanical, aeroacoustical and electro-mechanical systems, including quantification and modification of the sound of motors, pumps, fans etc.
• Performing root cause analysis of noise sources
• Performing acoustic testing, sound quality evaluation and sound design studies
• Creating detailed test plans and specifications
• Establishing experimental setup, executing experiments and data analysis
• Clearly communicating complex data to technical and non-technical team members
• Working with cross-functional teams on creative solutions to noise problems
• Leading and participating in R&D project for improving and developing new product.

The position is located in Çayırova, İstanbul.

How we describe the perfect fit?

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, preferably Master’s / Doctorate degree in fields associated with Mechanical Vibration and Acoustics
• Having experience in household or similar electrical appliances,
• Minimum 5 years of experience in related area,
• Having experience in product component/sub-system/system dynamic simulations using modelling and simulation strategies of varying complexities,
• Having experience in modal analysis (numerical and experimental),
• Having experience in NX, Matlab and B&K Pulse,
• Knowledge of system design, vibration and acoustic simulation and testing,
• Strong knowledge of Simcenter,
• Experience in anechoic / semi-anechoic acoustic chambers and the use of precision-grade instrumentation (e.g. acoustic camera etc)
• Excellent verbal and written skills in English (German is a plus),
• Following and adopting the market trends and new Technologies,
• Outside the box thinking ability,

• A great team player with a self initiative mindset,
• Knowing what empathy really means,
