Job Purpose:

The Lead Engineer, System Integration & IoT plays a critical role in shaping the organization's automation, system integration, and IoT strategy. This position is responsible for providing expert guidance and leadership on all aspects of system integration architecture, IoT initiatives, and the integration of advanced technologies to drive operational excellence. The Lead Engineer works closely with business stakeholders, engineers, IT professionals, and cross-functional teams to ensure that integration and IoT efforts align with organizational goals and deliver measurable business value.

🔑 Key Accountabilities:

• Designing and developing system integration and IoT solutions that support business requirements and operational efficiency
• Collaborating with business stakeholders to understand integration and IoT needs and develop solutions that align with strategic objectives
• Defining and implementing governance processes to ensure the integrity, security, and compliance of integrated digital systems
• Evaluating and recommending new tools and technologies to enhance system integration and IoT practices
• Leading the design and implementation of integration solutions to enable seamless data and process flow across systems
• Mentoring and coaching team members on best practices in system integration, IoT, and technology adoption
• Participating in cross-functional teams to implement solutions that support business initiatives and improve operational performance
• Monitoring and optimizing the performance, scalability, and reliability of integration and IoT systems to ensure high availability and quality
• Collaborating with IT and engineering teams to define standards, metrics, and principles that guide integration and IoT practices
• Staying current on industry trends and best practices in system integration, IoT, digital transformation, and technology innovation to drive continuous improvement.

Minimum Qualifications:

-Bachelor's degree in a related field such as Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology , or a related discipline

Minimum Experience:

-10+ years of experience in system integration, IoT, automation, or related fields, preferably within mining and metals or industrial sectors.
