Key Responsibilities:
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with a minimum 5 years of relevant design experience.
- Proven experience with consultancy firms in the design of wastewater networks.
- Proficient in preparing design reports, hydraulic models, discharge calculations, and network planning.
- Hands-on experience in using SewerGEMS and other relevant hydraulic design software.
- Familiar with gravity systems, force mains, and pump station design, including coordination with mechanical, electrical, structural, and instrumentation teams.
- Capable of producing and reviewing detailed pipeline profiles, including gravity and pressure systems.
- Competent in performing clash detection/analysis and leading the resolution process during design development.
- Able to develop design alternatives and system optimization strategies to meet performance, cost, and sustainability objectives.
- Strong skills in design coordination, quality control, and compliance with client/authority specifications.
- Experience working with GCC authorities and familiarity with their standards, codes, and approval procedures, especially in Qatar.
- Proven ability to coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated and successful project outcomes.
- Previous project experience in Qatar, UAE, KSA, or other GCC countries.
- Understanding of local authority requirements (e.g., Ashghal, etc.).
